Step #3: Enter the name of the recepiant(s) to be associated with each buckeye purchased.
(A line will appear for entering a name for each buckeye purchased)
Step #4: Click the box marked “I agree to the Terms and Conditions”, then click the “Make Purchase” button.

You will now get directed to PayPal’s secure site to complete the transaction.
Step #5: Log into your PayPal account with your PayPal email and password then click the “Log In” button.

Step #6: Review your information and click the button labeled “Pay Now”.

This image is an artist’s rendering of what the final display may look like. The Block O display case will reach 8 feet high, 6 feet wide, and will weigh over half a ton when housing the necklace consisting of 100,000 buckeyes! Each buckeye will represent a participant in the program. The record breaking necklace will be on public display at a location to be determined in the near future.

The Buckeyes For A Cure program will sell individual buckeyes through this site for $2.50 each. A significant portion of each buckeye sold will go directly to the Stefanie Spielman Fund. Initially, Stefanie and Chris Spielman had a goal of raising $250,000. Today – through their work and the extraordinary grassroots support by Community Partners – more than $6.5 million has been raised to support breast cancer patients and research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer (other than skin cancer) in women. It affects hundreds of thousands of women in the United States each year, including more than 200,000 newly diagnosed cases.

A woman’s risk of developing breast cancer over her lifetime is 1 in 8, or 12 percent.

A breast cancer can be found on a mammogram, or it can be felt by the woman herself or by her physician. Not all breast cancers can be detected by those means, but regular mammograms and breast examinations greatly increase the chances of detection and successful treatment.

Although rare, with only about 1,600 newly diagnosed cases per year, male breast cancer is an important disease. Unfortunately, due to its rarity, it is often not readily diagnosed.

The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research is devoted to advancing research in breast cancer. Over the past few years, the fund has supported researchers and their efforts in fighting breast cancer.

Even though there has been a lot of progress made towards the advancement of breast cancer research there is still much work to do! By purchasing a buckeye you will help make a difference in finding a cure.

This partnership has yielded a ground-breaking program which will produce the world’s largest buckeye necklace while more importantly raising awareness and funds towards breast cancer research.

The Buckeyes For A Cure program will sell individual buckeyes through this site for $2.50 each. A significant portion of each buckeye sold will go directly to the Stefanie Spielman Fund. These buckeyes are hand-picked, sequentially numbered, and strung to the necklace each time one is sold. Those who purchase a buckeye will be able to view a picture of their numbered buckeye on the buckeyesforacure.com site in the “participants” section.

The goal is to construct a necklace consisting of 100,00 buckeyes, which will span a mile and a half long end to end!

Each participant will not only have helped in building the world’s largest buckeye necklace, but more importantly they will have participated in a cause that desperately needs all of our help.
